Nanta by Forma 5
08/07/2011 [spain] [office] [permalink]

Nanta was created to give a flexible and effective solution to interior design professionals who are looking to create functional, limited and purist environments. This is a trend where the contemporary is combined with clarity and luminosity, marking a consistent principle of minimalism, cold colours and uncluttered design. Furthermore, Nanta is constructed for multiple users, for community use public places, for continued and changing use in respect of function. Therefore, it finds its natural environment in busy places like restaurants, hotels, libraries, conference halls...

Drops by RS Barcelona
20/06/2011 [spain] [livingroom] [permalink]

The last drops of water fall after the storm. A moment of calm and stillness, reflected in the coffee table Drops. The embossed waves create a relaxing, almost hypnotic, effect. Both sizes complement and play together, one nesting partly underneath the other, as if they wanted to merge into one single piece.

Yo Yo by Almerich

It is a fun and functional collection which comprises a hanging lamp and a floor lamp with rotational-moulded polymer diffusers. The electric cable is made of fabric, it is 10m long, and it is rolled-up between the two diffusers, which reminds us of the toy that names the collection. The metal parts are brass with steel finish.

Alma by Koo international
02/02/2011 [spain] [livingroom] [permalink]

Alma looks for a new composition and a different relationship between the elements of an armchair. The result, two volumes that can combine different colours and materials. This enables the use of Alma in different areas: indoor, with fully upholstered version "Alma in" and out with "Alma Out", the result of a novel combination in outdoor furniture; polyethylene fabric.

Teixidors
31/01/2011 [spain] [others] [permalink]

We create unique, unrepeatable products made with highest quality materials that always follow an entirely manual process. Our project is not a romantic utopia; it’s a work philosophy with a focus on singularity, on the beauty of unique items. Teixidors drinks from the fountain of artisan work, tools, processes and attitude. We use classic wool looms, we thread the best raw materials (Merino wool, cashmere, cotton, linen...) and we follow a strictly manual process. This is the core of our work, a recipe that combines tradition with a vision of the future.

Algae lamp by Christian Vivanco
27/12/2010 [spain] [lighting] [permalink]

After spending several summers in the Mexican Caribbean I had enough inspiration to develop a very special project. I've always felt a great curiosity about the seaweed and coral reefs, their ability to generate a variety of colours and intensities, and in the case of seaweeds, their constant movement under water, resembling a slow dance. Algae is a suspension lamp inspired by all this memories, resembling an aquatic algae that is suspended in the air, constantly changing its shape, depending on the angle from where you look at it. Its made of two acrylic surfaces, which embrace a compact fluorescent tube, hiding the entire electronic system. The use of two layers give you the chance to diffuse the intensity of the internal colour, creating a delicate and cheerful atmosphere. Algae is part of a collection of lamps developed for Almerich, a Spanish company located in the Mediterranean city of Valencia.
