Interesting concept located in the entrance of an office building in central Stockholm. As both the entrance and staircase have no natural light, it was important to replicate the positive sensation of sunlight. The technical principles behind the project are based on Daniel's previous lamp, Surface Daylight. Walls are covered with a solid surface material; CNC-milling hollows areas before backlighting by LED. The installation consists of over 6000 LED and continues across 3 stories.

Once again Nina Jobs excels in her quest for functional simplicity with straightforward natural forms and colors. But not without a sophisticated twist to a mouth-blown carafe for wine and water, or to be used as a flower vase. It is no wonder that the Fia is named after the Swedish version of the board game Ludo. The straight lines allude to her playful character, as well as the precisely ground spheres in amber, pink, black and clear crystal. Fia carafe/vase by Nina Jobs now available in store.

The collection consists of totally ten different individuals divided in two families. There are also a number of unique birds in various colors and techniques. Kasthall has been designing and manufacturing unique woven and handtufted rugs since 1889. Since its foundation the company has been operating from its own factory in Kinna, an area rich in textile manufacturing history in the west of Sweden. This is where they still make all their rugs today.
In this picture: Storm - Storm is wall-to-wall carpet with a very expressive geometrical form that in its repetition creates a soft yet strong pattern. The yarn of the carpet creates a grid that brings life to the circular movements of the pattern. Storm is made-to-order only.
