Bend by Cascando

Bent consists of bent metal uprights which are connected in an attractive way. Coats can be hung on the carefully rounded ends of the strips or on the polished aluminium pegs which connect the uprights. Here too, a subtle detail on the base joins the uprights in a harmonious way. Bent is available in fresh white, cheerful yellow and rugged grey.

Do not rush off to nail your keys to your hand just yet though, we already have the solution: Our magnetic cloud key holder fixes to your wall and then suspends your keys from the bottom using 3 hidden magnets, mount it on your wall and your keys will always be in the first place you look...

This coat stand is designed with nature as inspiration, as can be seen by the top view resembling a clover. The clever design uses only 2 different shapes creating, by repetitive use, an endless loop.

Patriot hanger by Allt

The understanding of the nationality question is at a difficult stage in Slovakia. And as Allt reflects this, the national symbol is magnified on one side, put against the wall and covered with seasonal clothing on the other.

Dummy by Alessandro D Angeli
27/04/2010 [italy] [hall] [permalink]

It is a module composed by square section semi-finished wood [30x30 mm]; this choice of modularity is due to the fact of creating in a short time, and without waste products, a support, that assembled with other similar modules, can make a set of clothes trees of any number of arms. Moreover, its singularity is a double aesthetic shape: legs turn into supports for clothes and vice versa.

Stiller Gefahrte by David Olschewski
19/04/2010 [germany] [hall] [permalink]

The beauty of an everyday object often only becomes visible when we see it in a new context. In this case, a slight modification to an "ordinary everyday" shovel turns it into an elegant coat-stand. The "Stiller Gefahrte" (translated literally: Silent Companion) gets its stability from an X-shaped beechwood.

Dodici by van Esch
27/01/2010 [netherlands] [hall] [permalink]

Dodici has been designed for twelve coats, Dodici is cool, Dodici is made of metal, Dodici is hard-wearing and strong. Coat stand Dodici, a design by the English designer James Irvine, is a heavyweight; figuratively speaking that is. Due to the sophisticated design the metal coatstand is stable and highly suitable for heavy use. And that is surprising as the twelve hooks seem to have been folded like cardboard. The name of the design refers to the number of hooks: dodici is Italian for twelve. The coat stand is available in several colours.
