LLUNA is the ideal decoration for those who want to elegantly separate outdoor environments, while still retaining the possibility of admiring a view. Atesta by SeriesD

Atesta by SeriesD reinvents the plant pot in a modular dialogue. Pots which can be grouped to define ephemeral spaces, adapting and combining the same design for multiple utilities. Atesta proposes a subjective modularity, spontaneous…Mediterranean. Atesta is a pot, a mood lighting, a bucket, a tall table, a lounge bar... A concept that dresses with style indoor and outdoor spaces…You choose.

Prairie by Maandag Meubels
25/05/2010 [netherlands] [outdoor] [permalink]

Every day a view on the Prairie! After a day chasing at work you obviously need a good fire. While staring in the flames you'll relax. The campfire challenges you to tell tough stories and it keeps wild animals away. The Prairie campfire of Maandag meubels hits the bull's-eye. The shape indicates where your logs are well placed. The bonfire is placed on legs, so your fresh cut grass stays green. The Prairie campfire is made of Corten steel so it will last forever under the starry skies.

Chitchat by Teun Fleskens
19/01/2010 [netherlands] [outdoor] [permalink]

Waiting in public spaces always could be more fun. With that goal was designed the CHITCHAT. A swinging seat from multiplex or polyester for one to seven people. If you take a seat, you bring the furniture and everyone who is sitting on it in motion. This almost always leads to interaction. It has something surprising and you get to talk about it to your neighbour. Strangers are searching together for the best balance. The ice breaks, the atmosphere improves and the waiting is less boring. The 'rocking trees' in the middle provide a playful effect, especially with more CHITCHATS in one space.

Titikaka by B&B Italia
09/11/2009 [italy] [outdoor] [permalink]

The new Titikaka bench, in teak lathes with an aluminium frame, contradicts the grid shape of traditional outdoor benches. Perhaps the waves of the Bolivian Lake inspired this ingenious piece where the surface of the seat seems to almost ripple with wonderful effect of wind over water. In fact, around the aluminium frame the lathes, which continue to the floor on both sides of the bench, have a wavy progression, creating curves that are sculptural yet truly practical for the ergonomics of the seat.

The Birdhouse by Vlaemsch
03/10/2009 [belgium] [outdoor] [permalink]

The Birdhouse links the balcony to its green surroundings, the inhabitants of apartments to the birds out side. Lacking a garden in her LEGO like apartment building, Emilie Cazin created this Birdhouse in order to attract birds to her balcony and thus stand out from all the piled up apartments with the same windows, same walls, same balconies. The uniform balcony is transformed into a lookout for bird watchers. Birdhouse, with form that refers to, but clearly deviates from he parabolic antennas in the cityscape, is an invitation to the city's birds to nest close to one¹s window.

BEE furniture range
31/10/2008 [france] [outdoor ] [permalink]

As its name suggests, the BEE range is eco-designed. But instead of wax it is made of bamboo fibre. Light-weight, resistant and for use inside and out, its honeycomb structure principle cuts matter down to the minimum, as in an aeroplane wing. A paradox in terms of function that retrieves the ecological qualities of pre-pollution, craftsman-built aviation.
